| Oaks Corners Firefighters Train on Pump Operation & Hydrants. |
On June 15, 2009 members of the Oaks Corners Fire Department conducted training on pump operations,
hydrant operations, and use of various nozzles. Chief Mike Reifsteck conducted a class on the proper way to
hook up to a hydrant and operate the pumpers from various municipal water supplies. Assistant Chief Brian
Maney also taught a refresher class on how to operate various types of firefighting nozzles including automatic,
smooth bore, basement nozzles, piercing applicators, and water curtains.
