| Oaks Corners & North Side FD's Battle Brush Fire |
On 04/22/08 at 2pm, the Oaks Corners Fire Department was dispatched to 2274 Route 14 for a reported brush
fire behind the house. Oaks Corners Brush Truck 3251, and Tanker-Pumper 3231 responded with a crew of 7
under Asst. Chief Maney. Asst. Chief Maney requested an engine & manpower out of North Side and Phelps to
stand by in their station with an engine & brush truck. The fire was confined to around an acre of brush &
woods.
